How Can severe Swelling In The Foot Be Treated?

I had extreme swelling in one foot and leg and swelling in the right foot. Had an ultra sound of both legs today to rule out blood clot. now waiting on blood test for kidney, liver and thyroid. I work at a desk and worked a 12 hour day. But this swelling was extreme - my foot poured over my shoe. What do you think

itcanbe thrombophlebitis. clinical examination can be done and bleeding time and clotting time will be helpful for diagnosis.apply crepe bandage and raise both leg by pillow at bedtime. avoid standing for long time.
